EnviZyme WW3
Available Sizes
- 500 g
- 10 kg
Avantages
- Helps to achieve effluent discharge consent levels
- Reduces FOG, BOD, COD and Suspended Solids levels
- Reduces the possibility of reseeding with inhibitory organisms such as filamentous bacteria
- Increases sludge reduction which is a great economic incentive in lowering disposal costs
- Foam is reduced through accelerated degradation of surfactants and fatty acids resulting from fat breakdown
- Controls odour causing compounds such as hydrogen sulphide, mercaptans, amines and ammonia from protein degradation and fatty acids
- Enables optimization of the biodegradation process
- Rapid start-up of new plants, seasonally operated plants or following a maintenance shutdown and controls filamentous bulking
- Facilitates rapid recovery of biological activity after a toxic shock
- Faster degradation of difficult wastes such as long-chain fatty acids
Description
EnviZyme WW3 is a proprietary formulation of beneficial microorganisms selectively adapted for application in food processing waste waters which contain fats, oils and greases (FOG). EnviZyme WW3 focuses on improving plant efficiency, increasing the FOG degradation capacity and decreasing FOG removal costs. Our product is based on selected bacteria cultures being able to degrade FOG efficiently.

Application
EnviZyme WW3 can be used in a variety of food processing, beverage manufacturing waste water treatment applications, such as fats, oils and grease removal as well as for odour control. EnviZyme WW3 can be applied in the following systems: holding tanks, lift stations, oxidation ditches, activated sludge and lagoons. The dosage rate for EnviZyme WW3 is dependent upon the volume of the biological reactor, the FOG loading and the amount of grease build-up in the system. During the initial seeding, an increased dosage is used to quickly reinforce the biomass in the system.
Optimum conditions for use
The bacteria in EnviZyme WW3 performs within a pH range of between 4.5 and 9.0, with optimum activity near a pH of 7.0. Temperature affects the growth rate of the bacterial population and activity improves to a temperature between 37°C and 38°C (99°F to 100°F). No appreciable activity can be expected below 5°C (40°F) and above 40°C (104°F).
Preparation
EnviZyme WW3 may be added directly to the waste influent stream or aerated basin. For toxic wastes or short retention times, re-hydration for between 30 to 90 minutes prior to its addition to a waste system is recommended, using 9 litres of water per 500g of EnviZyme WW3. For best results, the make-up water temperature range should be between 21°C and 31°C (70°F to 90°F).
Storage and handling
Store in a cool dry place at room temperature. The recommended storage temperature is within a range of 1°C and 23°C (34°F to 73°F). Avoid excessive inhalation. Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands thoroughly with warm, soapy water after handling.
