EnviZyme AEROBIC
Available Sizes
- 500 g
- 10 kg
Avantages
- A synergistic blend of selectively adapted bacteria which produce rapid degradation of problematic compounds found in Industrial and Municipal waste systems
- Recommended for a wide range of municipal applications in both treatment plants and collection systems
- Degrades the recalcitrant portion of the grease molecule; the long-chain fatty acids, which cause the majority of maintenance and treatment problems.
- Reduces the production of odours by inhibiting biological production of odour-causing compounds, such as hydrogen sulphide and volatile fatty acids that result from septic or anaerobic environments.
- Active at low pH levels. The addition of EnviZyme Aerobic alleviates low pH problems by breaking down the fatty acids.
- A EnviZyme Aerobic microbial consortium degrades and digests grease, fatty acids, proteins, lipids and carbohydrates, removing the source of organic waste problems.
- Effective at temperatures up to 45°C (113°F).
- Handles high loadings without detriment to effluent quality.
Description
Bio-management of industrial and municipal waste water. EnviZyme Aerobic contains a specially formulated range of adapted high-performance microorganisms optimized for their ability to degrade a broad range of contaminants found in Industrial and Municipal treatment plants. EnviZyme Aerobic helps to increase a plant’s capacity to handle grease, chemicals, and a variety of contaminants, through an effective biomass support system. With EnviZyme Aerobic, a significant return on investment is seen by the Waste Treatment Operator. EnviZyme Aerobic works to minimize stress related problems and optimizes a plant’s ability to handle excess overload.

Application
EnviZyme Aerobic can be used for multiple applications, including daily dosing to maintain FOG degradation capabilities, increased dosing during upsets caused by high loading and flows and seeding during plant start-ups. EnviZyme Aerobic can be used in the following areas: waste water plants, facultative lagoons , sewers, holding tanks, aerated lagoons, collection systems, oxidation ditches, basins and fish hatcheries.
Optimum conditions for use
The dosage rate for EnviZyme Aerobic is dependent upon the make-up of the waste water, average daily waste water flow, volume of the biological reactor and the COD load. An increased dosage during the initial seeding is used to quickly establish the microorganisms in the system. When the microbial community is properly established, a regular maintenance program can then be put in place in order to maintain a high level of biological activity. The bacteria in EnviZyme Aerobic perform within a pH range of between 4.5 and 8.5, with optimum activity near a pH of 7.0. Temperature affects the growth rate of the bacterial population and activity improves with a temperature of between 37°C and 38°C (99°F to 100°F). No appreciable activity can be expected below 5°C (40°F) and above 40°C (104°F).
Preparation
EnviZyme Aerobic may be added directly to the waste influent stream or aerated basin. For toxic wastes or short retention times, re-hydration for between 30 to 90 minutes prior to its addition to a waste system is recommended, using 9 litres of water per 500g of EnviZyme Aerobic. For best results, the make-up water temperature range should be between 21°C and 31°C (70°F to 90°F).
Storage and handling
Store in a cool dry place at room temperature. The recommended storage temperature is within a range of 1°C and 23°C (34°F to 73°F). Avoid excessive inhalation. Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands thoroughly with warm, soapy water after handling.
