Description

EnviZyme Anaerobic is a biological formulation combining specifically selected strains of bacteria and fast acting enzymes applied in a variety of industries that utilize anaerobic treatments for waste waters. The selected strains of bacteria and fast acting enzymes in EnviZyme Anaerobic were specifically chosen for their ability to increase anaerobic treatment efficiency, which in turn optimizes the production of biogas.

Application

EnviZyme Anaerobic may be used in a variety of industries that utilize anaerobic systems for the treatment of their waste.

Optimum conditions for use

The bacteria in EnviZyme Anaerobic perform within a pH range of between 6.5 and 9.0, with optimum activity near a pH of 7.5. Temperature affects the growth rate of the bacterial population and activity improves with a temperature of between 37°C and 38°C (99°F to 100°F). No appreciable activity can be expected below 5°C (40°F) and above 40°C (104°F).

Preparation

EnviZyme Anaerobic is added directly to the influent waste stream daily, just prior to entering the anaerobic treatment unit or lagoon. Dosage rates will vary depending on the system and the plant output. The benefits of EnviZyme Anaerobic are inherently linked to the quantity of biogas generated and the quantity of COD degraded. Therefore, any additional COD degraded in the anaerobic system reduces both the overall solids handling costs and the energy demand.

Storage and handling

Store in a cool dry place at room temperature. The recommended storage temperature is within a range of 1°C and 23°C (34°F to 73°F). Avoid excessive inhalation. Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands thoroughly with warm, soapy water after handling.
