Description

EnviZyme FOG is an environmentally friendly biological grease trap,drain build up remover and odour control product. EnviZyme FOG is a ready to use powder formulation designed to improve liquefaction, degradation and digestion of grease, fats and oils as well as a wide range of organic line deposits and blockages. EnviZyme FOG is formulated incorporating selected strains of bacteria cultures, each exhibiting superior enzyme production capabilities against specific substrate (fats, oils, grease, protein, starch and carbohydrates), that are blended together to optimize germination and effectiveness, in both aerobic and anaerobic environments.

Application

EnviZyme FOG is specifically formulated for the following applications where rapid action is required: Grease traps and drain lines, sewage pits and septic systems, on-site residential waste water systems, hospitality, recreational park holding tanks, marine and RV holding tanks.

Dosage guidelines

NOTE: EnviZyme FOG is recommended for use in residential and commercial applications, but is not suitable for industrial purposes. Dose rates are recommendations only. Higher doses may be based on grease loading, types of food cooked and the number of meals prepared.

Optimum conditions for use

The bacteria in EnviZyme FOG perform within a pH range of between 6.0 and 9.0, with optimum activity near a pH of 7.0. Temperature affects the growth rate of the bacterial population and activity improves with a temperature between 37°C and 38°C (99°F to 100°F). No appreciable activity can be expected below 5°C (40°F) and above 40°C (104°F).

Preparation

EnviZyme FOG may be added directly into the drain, grease trap, septic or holding tank. For toxic wastes or short retention times, re-hydration for between 30 to 90 minutes prior to its addition to a wste system is recommended, using 9 litresof water with the recommended dosage of EnviZyme FOG. For best results, the make-up water temperature range should be between 21°C and 31°C (70°F to 90°F).

Storage and handling

Store in a cool dry place at room temperature. The recommended storage temperature is within a range of 1°C and 23°C (34°F to 73°F). Avoid excessive inhalation. Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands thoroughly with warm, soapy water after handling.
